What is Wonky Fruit?

Did you know ?

Millions of tons of fruit are wasted each year simply because they are considered “wonky”?

These fruits may be slightly misshapen, too small, or too large, and are often rejected by retailers, consumers and other office fruit supply companies. However, using wonky fruit can actually have a number of benefits, both for the environment and for our wallets.

What's in an Office Fruit Delivery?

Seasonal Mix

The varieties and content of our fruit deliveries change with the seasons, as do the quantities of each. Expect to see a mix of Apples, Pears, Plums, Bananas and the odd punnet of Grapes or Blueberries.

Packaging

Your fruit will be delivered to your office in a fully recyclable carboard box. If you wish, we can supply attractive wooden crates for you to display your fruit.

Is it Fresh?

We are so confident our fruit will arrive as fresh, if not more fresh than what you will buy from the supermarket or other fruit delivery companies that we offer a 100 percent guarantee.

How Does The Fruit Compare?

Grade A Fruit

Surprisingly, much of our fruit is surplus production. At times of the year farmers can be left with an abundance of fruit they are unable to sell and would otherwise be disposed of.

Mis-shapes and Imperfections

Some of the fruit may have minor blemishes or small bruising, or simply be a bit uglier to look it. The good news is it will still taste great!

Setting up an Account & Payments

How much fruit shall I order?

All offices are different, to minimise waste we recommend you start low and work up in order to avoid food waste. We suggest starting with 1.5 to 2 pieces of fruit per employee per week.

Payments

Payment is by monthly invoice which can be paid by Bank Transfer, Card, Direct Debit or Paypal.
